Birthday Wish

MEMO

Today.. is her birthday.. over the years, I would not have missed to wish her Happy Birthday, at least by sms.. but this year, I already donno whether I should or should not.. while I am doubtful and thinking about this this, time flies and soon the day will be over..

I didn send any wish, doesn’t mean I have forgotten this day.. just that.. .. .. we are no longer the same as we used to be.. people change.. situations change.. but I haven’t change and my feelings are still the same.. and probably will be.. for a long time to come..

Maybe one day.. Maybe some day.. Hopefully there will be a day.. I can again be the person to wish you happy birthday.. not as a fren.. but as “more than a fren”..

But in the mean time, we shall move on.. To meet new people, to see new things, to find the new “me”, to fulfill the next step in our life..

Finally HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! You were once the most precious one, in my heart..

Lost my thumbdrives, not 1 but 2

Today I went for a course in MMC Kuching.

Everything was going well.. at about 10am it was tea break, so we all went for tea at a cafeteria..

After I came back to class.. at first I didn notice anything.. some time after that, when I thought of getting my water bottle, eh? where's my bag? I looked for it here and there.. no where to be seen!

After class I told my lecturer, and got everyone to help me to look for it, cannot find it too.. what the!! Was it stolen by someone?? I remembered I brought my PDA with me, and I took it out to use when I was in the lobby. Maybe at that time ppl saw me doing so and targeted me? Was it my enemy? Why I say that? Because there are tonnes of other bags in the room!!!! THERE'S EVEN 2 LAPTOP IN FRONT OF THE CLASS THERE.. WHY DIDNT THAT DUDE TAKE IT INSTEAD OF MY BAG?????????

Inside my bag, if I recall correctly, was my water bottle (give you la), my notepad (quite new, give you la..), and two thumbdrives (if you so want it, give you la).. But the things inside the thumbdrive, GIVE ME BACK!!!!!

One thumbdrive contains all the files I collected since I started working.. I don't know whether is there anything inside that is considered confidential.. maybe got maybe not.. But what can I do now? Make police report? For only 2 thumbdrives? I don't even know when and where and who took it.. If they really use the files for bad purposes.. HOW?????

The other thumbdrive lagi kek sim.. every thing from my study.. my notes, my assigns, my projects.. luckily now new sem.. if not? how I pass up my assign??????

As I said earlier, if you want the thumbdrive, I give you. But the files pls delete or return to me..

But really.. These thiefs.. I got only one phrase for you: "Hope you rot in Hell!!!!!!!!"

Lesson of the day: Don't bring a bag to course
Lesson of the day 2: Don't leave / bring your thumbdrive with important docs to course

有爱但有碍

Finally, I haven taken the initiative and time to write a story about a young guy's love story. This story happened to him during his uni days and it's his first true love.. (and might as well reveal the real reason on why ppl keep on saying him as choosy)

I wrote it in Chinese version only and decided to post at my private blog.. Maybe later I should post here instead but it depends..

Chinese man taking a loan

A Chinese man walks into a bank in New York City andasks for the loan officer. He tells the loan officer that he is going to China on business for two weeksand needs to borrow $5,000. The bank officer tells himthat the bank will need some form of security for theloan, so the Chinese man hands over the keys to a new Ferrari parked on the street infront of the bank. He produces the title andeverything checks out.

The loan officer agrees to accept the car ascollateral for the loan. The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the Chinese forusing a $250,000 Ferrari as collateral against a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then drives theFerrari into the bank's underground garage and parksit there.

Two weeks later, the Chinese returns, repays the$5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41. The loan officer says, "Sir, we are very happy to have hadyour business, and this transaction has worked outvery nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While youwere away, we checked you out and found that you are amulti-millionaire. What puzzles us is, why would youbother to borrow $5,000?" The Chinese replies: "Whereelse in New York City can I park my car for two weeksfor only $15.41 and expect it to be there when Ireturn?"

Ah you see, the mind of the Chinese...

Why British think 80% of M'sians coming to UK to study law?

UK Immigration Officer: Purpose of visit?

Visitor: I'm here to study law, sir.

Officer: You know, you must have a lot of lawyers in Malaysia.

Visitor: Why do you say that?

Officer: Well, i've been here for a good twenty years, and I'd say 80% of Malaysians I see here say they're here to read law.

Visitor: Oh, really? That's really something i never knew. Hard to believe in fact.

Officer: Just you watch, then. You just stand here until the next Malaysian comes along, and I'll bet he's here to read law.

*Visitor waits for 5 mins, Ah Chong from Malaysia comes to immigration counter*

Officer: Mr. Ah Chong, purpose of visit?

Ah Chong: Study lorr...

Sharing

He ordered one hamburger, one order of French fries and one drink. The old man unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half. He placed one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife. He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them.

As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them kept looking over and whispering. You could tell they were thinking, "That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal forthe two of them." As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table. He politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said they were just fine - They were used to sharing everything.

The surrounding people noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink. Again the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said, "No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything." As the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked "What is it you are waiting for?" She answered.... "The teeth"

Aims of Life

To live a life, one must have an aim. Before this, I like to base my 生活目标 on a certain someone: someone whom I can strive for.. But sadly, for the past few years, I am not able to find such a person.. As such, I had been living aimlessly few years for no reason.. No motivation, no energy, no commitments, etc.. Time to have a change, since now I have a career, which is something I can strive for.. (now only I start to aim high for work, what a stupid fool.. Other people already ahead of me..)

Prim3 8 Targets of Life:
1. Break the RM3k pay barrier by 5 years or earlier.. latest 1 January 2012 (that means have to work hard and get good rating so that can get higher pay rise each year..)
2. Have my own house by 3 years time.. by May 2010
3. Jump up two salary grades by 4 years time.. by May 2011 (rather same as 1)
4. Have total command of ISO documents within one years time.. by May 2008
5. Complete my studies by 1 and a half years time.. by December 2008
6. To master at least 2 other programming languages by 2 years time.. by May 2009
7. To have my own domain name and a fully-operational portal by 1.5 years time.. by December 2008 (need extra time as work comes first..)
8. To complete the first ever real-time inventory updating online system for my division in half a years time.. by December 2008

Of course, targets are not set just for eye pleasure only.. Real commitment and effort must be done to realise most if not all of them.. Hopefully, I can start to get serious now and fulfill my purpose of life..

Go go go Prim3!

Office Blues

One of the things that I need to accomplish now is to be strict and stick to my decisions. When I first stepped into this office, I have already known that they will be many people who will come to me with their own versions of stories. More of this will come now that I have taken over my colleagues place. As time passed by, I came to know that these stories may not be what they seem. As my colleague taught me, I only had to listen and forget. Any decisions I make should not be influenced by those stories and be neutral. Ya that's right. If I were to try to influence someone, of course I will be twisting the truth here and there.. and make the situation in favour of me. So the keyword here is make the decisions wisely and have good self-confidence. (Believe my own worth more than what others say.) And of course do not worry too much about others opinions and views of me as long as I think I am doing the right thing. Well, actually I am doing just that since the start.. Just that need to focus more and strengthen my mental strength now that I have much more responsibily on my shoulders.

Does this mean I will be maintaining an iron fist? Well, no.. First of all, I welcome opinions and views of others.. But definately the final decision is in my hands. Secondly, my boss can always override my decisions.. hehe..

Another thing I would like to stress to myself (and maybe others?).. For me, there is always only black or white.. there is never such thing as gray in my dictionary. That's why for me, there can only be do it.. or don't.. there's no such thing as try. That's why also, whenever I hear other people saying things like: What to do (the worst thing I ever heard!).. Try lo.. etc.. I become very obsessed. If you want to do it.. then do it.. If not, no point to say those things.. It's like saying "I try to eat the apple" ??!! Try to eat the apple? You want then you put your mouth there and bite it.. If not, then throw it to the floor.. What the heck is try to eat it??? The same case for all other things in life.. Try to do it? What is the meaning of this phrase? Is there any forcefield stopping you from doing it? any invisible hand making you paralysed and unable to do it, such that need to "try"? The answer I think is very clear.. It's only the person's own will not to do it..

Finally come to an end to this article.. Strayed too much from what I originally want to remind myself: Take myself to the next level: Be braver and make the correct decisions and be more transparent (transparent to others..) .. :)
